Mimi (also responsive to Cookie)

Corgi - Shetland Sheepdog Sheltie - Young - Female
Adoptable Medium

Mimi was found with her boyfriend Pepe by one of our volunteers. Our Shelter Director came to their rescue and Mimi immediately gave birth to 8 puppies at the vet’s office!

After a few days at the vet’s, Mimi was brought to the Shelter and is very busy nursing her puppies! By mid-end of May she should be ready for adoption.

NOTE: Right now, Mimi is bonded with Pepe and, at this point, we advise they should be adopted together. Pepe’s Petfinder listing: https://www.petfinder.com/dog/pepe-41236797/pr/loiza/amigos-de-los-animales-pr17/
NOTE 2: At the vet’s office, Mimi was also called Cookie, and responded to this name as well 🙂

The great thing about adopting a Puerto rican sato is that each one is unique. They come in all shapes, sizes, colors and personalities. However, satos are generally grateful, loving, smart dogs who can adjust well to different situations. We love satos and know you will too!

Our adoption fee is $100; however it is waived if the pet must be transported to their new home in the United States and the adopter pays the transport fees.
